Meet Laura, a compassionate psychologist who helps people better understand themselves and the experiences that have shaped them.

Laura is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and their life experiences. She takes a relational approach to therapy and sees the therapeutic relationship as an important part of the healing process. Laura brings warmth and curiosity into the room, creating a safe and steady space where you can show up as your authentic self and feel understood, supported, and accepted.

Laura has a particular interest in working with people who have experienced trauma at any stage of their lives. She enjoys helping people make sense of patterns that may leave them feeling stuck, disconnected or uncertain of who they are. Laura is especially interested in exploring how developmental trauma can shape people’s capacity to form safe, secure, and trusting relationships, and how it may present as self-criticism, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries or prioritising one’s own needs.

Laura’s has experience across a variety of clinical settings, including public hospitals, emergency services, family violence services, and government sectors. Beyond Flux, she works as a Clinical Psychology Registrar in public health, supporting adults and older adults across a range of physical and mental health presentations. This includes chronic pain, adjustment to illness, grief and loss, and neurological conditions.

Laura works collaboratively with you to identify realistic and meaningful goals, helping you move towards what matters most. No matter where you are on your healing journey, she will hold steady with you through life’s ups and downs.
